R.T. Kendall is a British theologian, pastor, and author who is best known for his teachings on the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, and the Bible. He was born in 1935 in Ashland, Kentucky, United States.

Kendall holds degrees from Trevecca Nazarene University, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Oxford University. He served as the pastor of Westminster Chapel in London for 25 years, succeeding the famous preacher Martyn Lloyd-Jones.

Kendall has written over 70 books, including his seminal work The Anointing: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, which has sold over one million copies. Other notable books he has authored include Total Forgiveness, The Parables of Jesus, and Holy Fire: A Balanced, Biblical Look at the Holy Spirit's Work in Our Lives.
